ISABELLE RUSSELL

Isabelle was admitted as a solicitor and barrister of the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2017 after completing a double degree of Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management and thereafter completing her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.

With a background in commercial litigation, Isabelle has the skills and experience to advise clients on complex property matters including (but not limited to) matters involving high net-worth asset pools and complex corporate structures and trusts. In relation to parenting matters, Isabelle is known as an empathetic advisor to clients dealing with emotionally charged parenting issues, including matters with high-conflict relationships and relocation applications.

Despite her experience in litigation, Isabelle believes that wherever possible, family law matters should resolve by way of negotiation outside of Court to limit the expense and potential devastating effects of Court proceedings on families and children. She is well versed in attending Family Dispute Resolution conferences, Conciliation Conferences and mediations and drafting settlement documents when agreements are reached.

Isabelle is known for her straightforward, practical approach, and is committed to helping families navigate separation with compassion and efficiency. She understands that clients want clarity and direction to guide their matter forward, and Isabelle is focussed on assisting clients to make informed decisions in order for their matter to be resolved efficiently.
