Freya obtained her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Adelaide in 2011 before going on to complete a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice through the Australian National University in 2012. Freya then completed a Master of Laws through the Australian National University, specialising in Legal Practice.
Freya is admitted to practice as both a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory, the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia.
Freya specialises as a Family Lawyer, utilising experience from all jurisdictions to provide well-reasoned advice to ensure the best outcome possible.
Freya has exceptional knowledge of all aspects and procedures relating to Family Law matters. From preliminary negotiations to Trial (if unable to be resolved), Freya has consistently achieved excellent results for her clients, especially with respect to custody issues, parenting orders, property settlements, Conciliation Conferences, Binding Financial Agreements (in light of recent case law), existence of De facto Relationships, and Grandparents’ Rights.
Freya’s passion and focus has always been Family Law. She also has significant experience in WorkCover, Criminal Law, and Wills.
