Shannon joined Douglas Hoskins Legal in October 2020, and practises in Wills and Estates with a particular interest in Estate Litigation and Dispute Resolution.
Shannon completed a double degree in Law and Commerce (International Business), with a Diploma of Languages in French in 2015. Upon completion of her Graduate Diploma, Shannon was admitted as a legal practitioner in the Supreme Court of South Australia in November 2016 and was later entered on the Register of Practitioners in the High Court in November 2017.
Prior to joining Douglas Hoskins Legal, Shannon gained skills in a reputable and well-established boutique firm, working across the areas of Dispute Resolution, Commercial Law, and Wills and Estates. Shannon is skilled in drafting letters of demand, court documents, mediation position papers and letters of offer, and has developed valuable experience in participating in settlement conferences, mediations, and large-scale court actions. Her knowledge and experience in commercial litigation and estate matters means that Shannon is well placed to guide her clients through negotiations, court actions and administration processes.
Shannon is passionate about being a trusted advisor and advocate for her clients, whether it be planning legacies, preparing Probate applications, or helping to resolve estate disputes.
